Baboquivari Unified School District Seeks School Board Candidates
Community members interested in making a difference in local education are being encouraged to apply for a position on the Baboquivari Unified School District Governing Board.
District officials say serving on the school board is an opportunity to help guide the future of local schools, support student success, and represent the voice of the community.
To qualify, applicants must be registered voters in Arizona, have lived within the district for at least one year, and cannot be employed by the district or be the spouse of a district employee.
The filing period for the 2026 election runs from June 6 through July 6 at 5:00 p.m., with petition submissions beginning June 8. Prospective candidates must first file a Statement of Interest before collecting signatures.
