Our District News
Welcome friends and family members of BUSD #40. We appreciate your interest in the many events going on in the district. On this page, we will share all activities that take place, provide helpful information, and highlight student and school accomplishments. We will be updating our news regularly, so we invite you to visit this page often.
The district will be releasing auctions starting this month and will continue posting auctions until further notice. The auctions include vehicles, furniture, technology, equipment, tools, and many other items. You can find the Baboquivari School District auctions at the Public Surplus website. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Beginning January of 2017, our governing board will have openings that we need to fill. For more information, please see the district flyer with the member position description. You can also contact Benjamin Sabala at (520) 383-6746. There are currently two vacant seats on the Baboquivari Unified School District Governing Board. If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a member, please read in full our informational flyer to learn more about applying. Please return all applications in by Monday, December 19, 2016, at 5:00 p.m.
Governing Board Meetings
The Baboquivari Unified School District governing board meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. in the district board room.
Check out our Parent Portal through Infinite Campus. This portal will provide up-to-date information regarding recently graded assignments, your child's current grade, attendance, and tardies. It is a great resource for you to check your child's progress in school. The parent portal is located on the Home page, under Parents in the BUSD Supports section.
Youth Mentor Program
We are excited about our youth mentoring program. Research shows that quality mentoring can make a difference in the life of a youth. Students in 5th-8th grades who attend Indian Oasis Elementary School or Baboquivari Middle School are eligible to participate. Please see the documents below for detailed information.
